Financial Advisor, Retirement Income Planner, Ed Slott Master Elite IRA Advisor, Public Accountant & Social Security Maximization Specialist Philip Donato Capriotti, Sr. was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA where he graduated from Philadelphia University with a BS in Accounting and Finance. He started his professional career in the insurance industry as a branch manager for Banker’s Life and Casualty. Since moving to Texas with his family in 2002, Phil founded his own company, Senior Tax & Insurance Advisors (STA) and worked to become a Master Elite IRA Advisor with Ed Slott, CPA and Co. STA primarily focuses on retirement income planning and is a Social Security timing provider. In his “spare” time, Phil partners with Magellan Financial to train and recruit licensed agents in implementing Social Security workshops nationwide. Phil’s high energy and positive attitude have allowed him to “get in there” and become one of the most dynamic speakers in the industry.
TX Regional Manager & Social Security Timing Specialist
Gregory first began working in the financial services industry in 1982. He has been with Senior Tax and Insurance Advisors, PLLC since 2005. Gregory spends most of his days meeting with clients and helping them to understand (based on their individual wants and needs) at what age they should request receipt of Social Security benefits so as to maximize their Social Security retirement income. Gregory’s mission is to make certain all of the clients with whom he meets continue to receive the personalized financial services and support they are seeking from STA.
Director of Wealth Management
Angela has 23 years of experience in client services, wealth management and tax preparation. Angela joined the Senior Tax and Insurance Advisors team in October 2017. When you become a member of our wealth management client family, Angela will be your point of contact. She can help you with transfers, distributions and servicing your account. She is also our full-time tax professional on staff.
Director of Operations and Client Services
Christy has over 20 years of financial services and customer service experience. She brings a wide range of multi-level business experience from financial services administration management, non-profit administration, bookkeeping administration and customer service. Christy’s expertise provides the level of technology experience needed to elevate our customers’ experiences though marketing, digital automation of processes and much more.
Christy joined the Senior Tax and Insurance Advisors team in January 2018 to return to what she loves most: one-on-one contact with clients. She is responsible for monitoring and tracking all the processes in our office ranging from initial client contact, managing contract submittals, and helping our clients with whatever is needed to ensure their retirement transactions are processed efficiently and effectively.
Elisa has 20 years of experience in client services, financial services and management. Elisa joined the Senior Tax and Insurance Advisors team in June of 2017. She orchestrates all our workshops in both Texas and Pennsylvania. Elisa is responsible for coordinating logistical and administrative support for the speakers at each workshop as well as calling to confirm registration. She also follows up by setting up appointments and maintaining future client contact.
Financial Records Administrator
Jimye is our company’s Financial Records Administrator. She recently retired after successfully completing 24 years of teaching (in Leander ISD and Albuquerque Public Schools). Prior to her teaching career, Jimye was employed as a Tax Auditor for the Internal Revenue Service. Her formal education credentials include a MA in Educational Administration and a BS in Elementary Education (both earned at The University of New Mexico).
Lucas will be the Fiduciary at our Marble Falls office which opens in April 2018. Lucas has 17 years of experience in Financial Services and Insurance Services. He attended the University of Arkansas and holds FINRA Series 65 and Group 1 Life and Health Licenses.
CPA- Hutchens and Sheppard, LLP
Terry Hutchens is a CPA and native Austinite. He spent his first 10 years with two Big Four accounting firms in Houston, Texas. Terry then returned to Austin and has practiced accounting and financial consulting for the past 20 years in Central Texas. For the past six years, Terry and Nathan have partnered to operate the firm, Hutchens & Sheppard, LLP. Nathan and Terry function as defacto CFOs for small businesses, individuals and families. They guide all clients in the financial decisions that impact their state, federal and sales taxes, along with ongoing expenses and revenue generation. Their approach establishes the client’s financial net worth at first meeting and then creates a plan to sustain and enhance the client’s financial status. With his extensive education and experience, Jarrod Barton has the ability to provide the comprehensive, personalized services retirees and pre-retirees need to pursue their financial goals. A financial professional since 1997, Jarrod has the in-depth knowledge of financial issues that comes from 17 years of experience. His credentials include a B.S. in Finance (cum laude) from Salisbury University and the two most distinguished financial planning designations in the industry: Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) professional and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC). Earning those designations required advanced coursework in a comprehensive range of financial subjects, qualifying Jarrod to assist clients with virtually all their financial needs – from retirement planning (including income planning), to tax planning, asset protection and investment management. His dedication to serving others has led to a loyal, growing clientele. A United States Army combat veteran of Desert Storm, Jarrod is passionate about supporting Veteran causes. His leisure activities include camping, fishing and, above all, spending time with his lovely wife, Joanna, and their three wonderful children: Violet, Adeline, and Lincoln.

Philip earned his insurance licenses in 2008 and is now managing our Senior Tax and Insurance Advisors, PLLC branch office in Media, Pennsylvania. Philip specializes in retirement income planning and is also a certified Social Security timing professional.
Susan has over 23 years experience as a full-charge bookkeeper in both the private sector and public accounting firms. She provides bookkeeping and payroll services to clients in various industries, which include healthcare/physicians, manufacturing, wholesale/retail, non-profits, law firms, restaurants, and entertainment. Susan’s accounting software knowledge includes QuickBooks, Peachtree, Business Works, Dynamics, Macola Accounting & Distribution, and PCLaw.
Phil Levin is a an estate planning and probate attorney with The Levin Law Firm, with offices in Chester, Delaware, Philadelphia, and Montgomery counties. He has been an active member of the Pennsylvania Bar for over thirty years and was awarded the Accredited Estate Planner designation by the National Association of Estate Planning Councils. The Levin Law Firm limits its practice to trust and estate planning for individuals and corporate employees, with a concentration on wealth transfer planning and estate administration matters. Phil is dedicated to working with clients in order to develop comprehensive estate plans designed to protect, preserve, and pass property intact to family members and charitable organizations in an effective and efficient manner. Phil is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar, the Estate Planning Council of Chester County, and the Probate and Trust Law Section of the American Bar Association.
Lisa Capriotti, PhD
Licensed Fiduciary & Licensed Investment Advisor Rep
Lisa Capriotti graduated from Gettysburg College in 2002 and went on to earn a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Delaware. After that, Lisa completed a prestigious post-doctoral fellowship at John Hopkins University in biomedical engineering. She then served six years in the US Navy where she became a lieutenant. Currently, Dr. Capriotti teaches chemistry part time at The Citidel: The Military College of South Carolina. She also works as an insurance specialist for Senior Tax and Insurance Advisors. Lisa has earned both her Series 7 and her Series 66 licenses and is qualified as a fully-licensed investment advisor.

Robert Gouthro graduated from Gettysburg College in 2002. He has since earned Masters Degrees from both The University of Delaware and Norwich University. Before moving into the financial industry, Robert taught at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. In 2014, Robert passed his insurance exam and now works with Senior Tax and Insurance Advisors. Robert works from Charleston, SC and is licensed to do business in the states of Texas, South Carolina, and Pennsylvania.

Ed Talley is a certified Senior Real Estate Specialist with over 13 years of real estate experience. He is currently the owner of Talley Real Estate, a real estate broker, and a certified residential specialist.
